1Acceptance of These Terms

RoJerbro is owned and operated by Me-Tech Solution Sdn Bhd ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RoJerbro mobile application (the "App") and its related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time, as described in "Changes to These Terms" below. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2About the Service

RoJerbro is a community road-safety and traffic-alert platform for Malaysian drivers. Registered users can report and view real-time traffic alerts (accidents, roadblocks, hazards, and similar events) with an optional photo and location, maintain a record of their own vehicle(s), and use the double-parking feature described below. Users may comment on alerts and exchange in-app messages with other users.

RoJerbro is a platform for user-submitted, crowd-sourced information. We do not independently verify the accuracy of alerts, comments, or other content submitted by users, and the Service is not an official source of traffic, road-safety, or law-enforcement information — see "Disclaimer" below.

3Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to register for and use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide (including your email address, and if provided, your nickname, date of birth, and phone number) is accurate and kept up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may also register or sign in using your Google account ("Google Sign-In"); doing so is subject to Google's own terms in addition to these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate an account that provides false information, is used to violate these Terms, or is inactive or abusive, at our reasonable discretion and, where practicable, with notice to you.

4User Content & Conduct

You are solely responsible for the alerts, photos, comments, messages, and other content you submit through the Service ("User Content"). When submitting User Content, you agree that you will not:

• submit an alert, comment, or message that you know to be false, misleading, or exaggerated;
• post content that is defamatory, threatening, harassing, obscene, hateful, or otherwise unlawful under Malaysian law, including the improper use of network facilities under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998;
• upload a photo that unnecessarily exposes another identifiable individual (e.g. a close-up of a person's face) where doing so is not reasonably necessary to illustrate the traffic event being reported;
• use the Service to harass, stalk, or intimidate another user or vehicle owner, including through the double-parking contact feature described below;
• impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
• upload content that infringes another person's intellectual property or other proprietary rights; or
• attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying systems.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display it within the Service for the purpose of operating and improving the Service (for example, showing your alert to nearby users, or your comment to other viewers of that alert).

5Location, Photos & Vehicle Information

Certain features require access to your device's location and camera/photo library, and require you to submit information about your vehicle (such as its plate number, model, colour, and brand) and photos of it. You control these permissions through your device settings and may decline them, though doing so will limit or disable the corresponding features (for example, the map view or alert creation).

You confirm that any vehicle information and photos you submit relate to a vehicle you are authorised to provide information about.

6Content Moderation

We use a combination of automated tools (including AI-based screening, see our Privacy Policy) and, where applicable, manual review to flag User Content that may violate these Terms. Flagged content is not automatically removed but may be reviewed and, at our discretion, edited, hidden, or removed, and the associated account may be suspended or terminated for repeated or serious violations.

Automated screening is a best-effort safety measure, not a guarantee that all non-compliant content will be caught, or that flagged content is in fact non-compliant. If you believe content violates these Terms, you may report it in-app or contact us using the details below.

7Double-Parking / Plate-Lookup Feature

The Service allows a user to look up whether a vehicle registration plate matches a car registered by another user of the Service, in order to notify that user that their vehicle may be causing an obstruction (for example, double-parking). This feature is intended solely for that purpose. You agree not to use it to identify, contact, or attempt to identify a vehicle owner for any other purpose, including advertising, harassment, or any purpose unrelated to resolving a parking obstruction.

8Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate certain features — for example, Google (Sign-In and maps), an AI content-analysis provider (for photo/text suggestions and moderation, see our Privacy Policy), and an email-delivery provider (for account and notification emails). Your use of features backed by a third-party provider may also be subject to that provider's own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services, and an outage or change to a third-party service may affect the corresponding feature of the Service.

9Intellectual Property

Excluding User Content, the Service — including its software, design, logos, and app-provided text — is owned by Me-Tech Solution Sdn Bhd or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms, and you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service itself (as opposed to your own User Content) without our prior written consent.

10Disclaimer

Alerts, comments, and other User Content reflect the views and observations of individual users, not RoJerbro or Me-Tech Solution Sdn Bhd, and are not verified against official sources (such as the Royal Malaysia Police, PLUS, or local authorities) before being shown to other users. The Service is not a substitute for official traffic, emergency, or law-enforcement information, and must not be relied upon as such — always exercise your own judgement, comply with the law, and prioritise road safety while driving, including not interacting with the App while operating a vehicle.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any User Content or alert.

11Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Me-Tech Solution Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or your reliance on any User Content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably practicable. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.

13Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Me-Tech Solution Sdn Bhd, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, liability, damage, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your User Content, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or wilful misconduct.

14Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute arising from them or your use of the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

15Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, via an in-app notice) before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
